Information relating to the activities of W & H Marriage & Sons Ltd and subsidiary companies, regarding their part in supplying bait for the badger cull, has led Highland Wholefoods to make the decision to place no further orders with Marriages.
As a vegetarian business, Highland Wholefoods is committed to Animal Welfare, and continuing to stock Marriages flour presents us with some concerns. We have alternatives that haven't raised the same concerns; please ask our sales team about these alternatives.
We will sell through our current Marriages stock and place no further orders at this time.
Highland Wholefoods has been keeping a clan of badgers well fed in the Highlands with out of date stock for some years now.
